HEMP

Find the best spot for hemp farming, and keep picking it up

The fastest and easiest way to get started with Harvesting leveling is to pick up as much Hemp as you can. It usually respawns very quickly so if you find a good spot, just stay there and farm it up.

For the best hemp spots, check out our Hemp Farming guide.

While out spamming hemp, you can also harvest any Farm Plants, Fungi, Magical Creatures, and Magical Plants that you come across.

SILKWEED

Silkweed will give you more harvesting xp, so try to find as much as you can

Once you can harvest these fancy blue glowing plants, you’ll find your Harvesting xp go up a little faster.

For the best areas to find silkweed, check out our Silkweed Farming Guide.

The journey from 100 all the way to 175 feels quite long and boring, but if you stick to as much silkweed-heavy spots as you can, it won’t take too long.

175 - 200

Once you hit 175, you won’t need much Wirefiber to level all the way up to 200

After you finally hit 175, the hard work is behind you because the xp you get from harvesting Wirefiber—which is now available to you—makes the last 25 levels fast and easy.

Make sure to check our top spots for Wirefiber farming to make it even easier.

PERKS

Any time you come across an item with some perks on it, check to see if there are any to do with harvesting, which might give you a little boost as you run around the world harvesting your plants. In addition to the ones above, you could also go full Harvest god-mode and cook Harvesting-specific foods that provide a small increase in Luck while harvesting:CornCornbreadCorn on the CobBreakfast BreadSpicy Steak PieThis is really not necessary to level harvesting, though—but can be a nice bonus for hardcore harvesters.

BONUSES

While I don’t necessarily think you need a bunch of Perks to start harvesting, I do however think it’s great fun (and also a lot faster) to level your Harvesting skill as an Intelligence Attribute player. The more intelligence you have, the more Harvesting bonuses you receive:

As you can see, the last tier (300 points) provides no Harvesting bonus, so don’t feel obliged to go beyond 250. The 10% reduction in Azoth travel cost can help you save on the capped resource if you’re zipping around the map a lot, though.
