Best Wirefiber Farm Locations
Gatherable at level 175 Harvesting, this material is needed for creating cloth for high-level armor crafting. Check out the best areas to find it in abundance.

Very easy to spot, they glow red and can be harvested once you hit level 175 in the Harvesting skill
What Wirefiber is used for
When a player harvests a Wirefiber plant in New World, they collect Wirefiber. This is then taken to the Loom in town to create Infused Silk.
Infused Silk is then used to create all kinds of high-level armor. Bear in mind that in order to create Infused Silk, you first need to create Silk, which also requires the creation of the full Clothing line (Linen > Sateen > Silk > Infused Silk).
As such, any serious armor crafters are going to need a healthy stock of all three of the Harvesting Fibers—Hemp Fibers, Silk Threads, and Wirefiber.
Best Places to Find Wirefiber
BEST OVERALL
Brightwood
There’s a very easy, low-level enemy route for Wirefiber in Brightwood. Players can easily do a full route of all the highlighted areas, and keep going round and round as they respawn. This does involve quite a bit of running, however. The tradeoff is the easy low-level enemies to deal with.
BEST ALTERNATIVE
Edengrove
If your character is already quite high, you can head to Northern Edengrove and find an abundance of Wirefiber up there. There’s even a quick travel shrine nearby to help you zip up there and back.
BEST FOR A QUICK FARM
Weaver’s Fen
If all you’re looking for is a fast little farm of Wirefiber, then use the quick travel shrine in Southern Weaver’s Fen, and scoop up all the Wirefiber that’s right next to it. Easy.
This is a great spot if you’re also looking for Silkweed, since it’s right next to the same Quick Travel shrine, too!
