Best Hemp Farm Locations
If you plan on doing any sort of armor crafting in New World, you’re going to need several boat loads of Hemp fibers. Check out this guide for the best places to find Hemp in vast quantities.
Hemp Harvesting
Bright, pink/purple plant that you can find almost any place you see grass. Especially abundant in flat plain areas.
What Hemp is used for
When a player harvests a hemp plant in New World, they collect an item called Fibers. These Hemp Fibers are then taken to the Loom in town to create Linen.
Linen is then used to create all kinds of armor. Even for high-level armor and higher levels of Loom cloth, you will always need the basic Hemp fiber to create the higher-tier cloth. As such, you’re always going to need a fair stack of hemp fibers lying around if you plan on doing a lot of armor crafting.
Best Places to Find Hemp
BEST OVERALL
WINDSWARD
There’s a small area South-West of Windsward town that is constantly respawning (really fast) large amounts of Hemp. This is the area highlighted in red on the map.
If there are too many other people there on your server, then head a little North, where you will see a lot of Hemp spread out across a large flat area.
BEST ALTERNATIVE
Northern Restless Shore / Southern Mourningdale
If Windsward is a little far from your home base, this large open field area at the top of Restless shore, leading into the bottom of Mourningdale, is absolutely full of Hemp—as well as Silkweed, if you’re already Harvesting level 100 and able to scoop that up too.
There are just a few cats to deal with around this area. Not too big of a deal.
